Wow, there are a lot of wonderful elements in this photograph:
- The title, "Playhouse," is very interesting. I imagine children playing hide-and-seek, popping their head throught the window to see if the person who was "it" was close by, then ducking back down.
- The flowers in the window-ledge garden are lovely; unfortunately, it looks like compression washed them out a little (maybe it's my monitor :-)).
- It looks like the shutters have been repaired recently; only one of the four cross boards are washed out. It is really neat that you selected this window, as opposed to other windows that you might have selected.
- I really like the angle of photo; rather than looking straight through the front window, it looks like you are off to the side, so you can't see entirely through the back window. Really cool composition!
- My favorite part of the photo is the out-of-focus door that you can see through the window. It is subtle, but it caught my eye, and I find myself drawn to it, wondering "Why was it open?" and other such deep questions.
Where was this taken, by the way?
:) it was taken in the Dallas Arboretum at the Texas Pioneer Adventure exhibit
