One of the first things I noticed was the "shallowness" of this flower. The petals are not as out-of-focus as some of your other photographs. This is a good thing; it is something different. The petals are just in-focus enough to allow one to preview the complexities.
Also, I really love the coloring of the pistels. They stand out really nicely against the minty green petals. It's almost Christmas-y :-)
