You are probably laughing at me, because in this photograph, the first thing that caught my eye is the white out-of-focus thing on the right.
Something I didn't write in the other comments is how much I like this shade of blue (at least, it looks blue to me :-)) As the tips of the plume go out of focus, the blue seems to dull into a very pleasant blend of blue and white.
I also really like the angle of stalk in this photograph. It seems to come out of nowhere, and shoots down to the bottom of the photo.
