You are absolutely correct; this really looks like a watercolour painting. The deep maroon pistils against the cloth-like petals are just, well, wonderful! As a matter of fact, the more I stare at the photo, the more the petals kind of look like a summer dress! I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the "Wilting Beauty" series.
