Même si je ne laisse pas toujours de commentaires je continue de surveiller ce que vous faîtes car vos photos sont une bonne source d'inspiration pour le cadrage, le traitement des couleurs (!) et le contrôle de la profondeur de champs. Il m'arrive même de vouloir vous copier. Mais n'ayez crainte, c'est juste pour apprendre et me divertir ;)

Thierry, thank you for such a lovely comment. :) Interesting, that you've mentioned framing, as one of the things I try is to always get my images right from the start. I usually crop in camera and so what you see here is what I have on my negative; saves me quite a bit of time in post-processing. :))

The above comments finally help me understand why you take so much time for your shots; you are looking at angles and framing up front. It is more work up front, of course, but the final photograph requires little or no cropping. Personally, I think this requires more skill, since you have to envision the final image up front, and you do it wonderfully :-)


I love the leaves you picked for this composition. There is a wonderful blend of reds and greens, as well as a touch of yellow. Plus I love how the light dances off of the leaves to the left, and how out-of-focus branch to right adds character to what could have been a dull background. Wonderful!
