I haven't been posting as often as I would like, but this time around I have some really good news and hopefully not a bad image either. :))

For the past few weeks I've been working with the Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas on redesigning and updating their website and today it finally went live. :)

It's kind of exciting, but the more exciting news is still to come...

Beginning August 10th, you'll have an opportunity to enter the Mega Giveaway at purplepinkandorange.com and win a 6x9 inch print of your choice from the everyday-wonders.com shop.
More detail on how to enter the giveaway will be posted next Sunday, August 10th, at purplepinkandorange.com.
In the meantime I will be adding new prints to the shop. If you would love to see a certain image offered as a print, let me know. :)

Have a wonderful and productive week everyone. :)

Thierry, thank you for such a lovely comment. :) Interesting, that you've mentioned framing, as one of the things I try is to always get my images right from the start. I usually crop in camera and so what you see here is what I have on my negative; saves me quite a bit of time in post-processing. :))

The above comments finally help me understand why you take so much time for your shots; you are looking at angles and framing up front. It is more work up front, of course, but the final photograph requires little or no cropping. Personally, I think this requires more skill, since you have to envision the final image up front, and you do it wonderfully :-)

I love the leaves you picked for this composition. There is a wonderful blend of reds and greens, as well as a touch of yellow. Plus I love how the light dances off of the leaves to the left, and how out-of-focus branch to right adds character to what could have been a dull background. Wonderful!
