I know this is a photograph of a plant, but when I first saw the thumbnail, it reminded me of a comet shooting toward the center of a galaxy (Sorry, my imagination ran away from me!). I love the focus on the "cortex," and the yellow stem going off to the right. Oh, yes, I can't forget to mention the lavender pistel delicately coming out of the center of the "cortex." Wonderful!
