Aren't you glad it's the weekend?
I am and I probably should apologize for not keeping up with the blog, comments and emails. I owe a few of you emails so hopefully you'll be getting them fairly soon.
It's been quite a week which started with my CRT monitor dying on me last Sunday evening and ended with my video card behaving erratically.
So I've spent the week researching LCD monitors and trying to pick a good one at a fairly reasonable price which turned out to be not an easy task.
If you have any tips on choosing a monitor or you would like to suggest a specific make/model, I would really appreciate it. :)
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone .. :)

changement de style, mais c'est toujours original. Belle géométrie.
Cool shoes I like those.
As far as the monitor goes. I have a viewsonic 21 inch (1680x1050) with a refresh rate of 75 Hertz, which I understand is not a common refresh rate. People tell me that it is fast and most aren't that fast. The key to me is to calibrate it with a tool and software. I use a Huey right now. I'm looking into getting either the Spider or Color Munki tool for calibration.
My monitor is getting old and I will be looking for a new one. If I could pick any one I wanted, I would go with the Apple 24 inch Cinema Display but they are quite expensive. My son has an iMac and the display is so beautiful, I have a G5 with the Viewsonic Monitor and I have a Macbook which has beautiful display for a laptop.
There are lot of choices good luck!
Marie, thank you .. :)
Laurie, and they are comfortable too. :)
Thank you so much for your input. I do love the Apple displays myself.
I haven't seen during the week-end. I have seen a lot of apple monitors, but they are NOT the better.
The important is to have a good calibration tool.
I paid a lot for a quato with iColor hardware calibration, but it was around 3k CHF...
Btw, great capture, the shoes looks confortable, are coordinated with the carpet colors, in fact everything is coordinated, even your trousers, because I suppose it's you, you never knows :)
GREAT SHOT

There is something "directional" in your photo. The feet first but also in the composition ! It's far diferent but good as well !
Years ago, if I went on holiday with a few friends we would always shoot our feet standing next together...just how you've made this picture.
Thanks for making me remember :)
Ilger.nl, oh.. that's a really neat idea :)) .. thanks for sharing ..
