I have been thinking about this one for some time. I just today finally saw the symmetrical sizes of the left and right halves :-D.
What an interesting overlap of ideas: the left and right halves are equal in size; the angles of the grout on the left side are just about reflective of the angles of the handles on the door; but the patterns and colors of the door and wall contrast each other.
I saw a lot of really neat things in this photograph; it's just taken some time to put it into words :-)
